Wow…

The trouble with this is, I find myself agreeing with Ann Coulter. Somewhat:

Left Behind?

There’s an article in the American Prospect about the lurch that Barack Obama left some state Democratic parties in due to his cabinet picks. The article has a short bit on Arizona and features a photograph of our own Janet Napolitano.
As per usual, I have to take issue with something:
Meanwhile, high-profile Arizona Democrats are queuing [...]

Quick Take

They are voiding the conviction of Ted Stevens due to prosecutorial misconduct. No one has actually disputed the allegations of the case, but it seems that the entire Washington establishment has fallen all over themselves feeling sorry for the guy.
I’m wondering if, by this standard, O. J. Simpson was perfectly innocent too.
The Alaska Republican Party [...]

Vox Populi?

I heard a guy on Marketplace Minute this morning call Rick Santelli’s rant on CNBC “populist.” For those who don’t know, Santelli went off on “losers” to much applause from the assembled people behind him, members of the Chicago Board of Trade.
Going off on working class people to the cheers of well heeled comodity traders, [...]

Conservatives Just Not Letting It Go, Part 2

Folks on the right are ticked off that Barack Obama will be appearing in an issue of The Amazing Spiderman. Yep, this is what it has come to. Check out what Debbie Schlussel says on her blog. Money quote:

Short Take on Monica Crowley

There’s a friend of mine who listens to Monica Crowley. She’s not a fan of the woman’s politics, but she finds Crowley’s constant indignant rants amusing. So, I’ve gotten a few doses of the Crowley’s view of the world.
I’ve come to one conclusion: despite the broad smile that Crowley displays on her home page, there [...]

I’ve Been a Bad Blogger

Okay, okay, I’ve been bad about posting lately. It’s not a lack of ideas for posts, it’s mostly just a lack of motivation. That’s right, blogging is just like method acting.
Yesterday morning, I made the mistake of watching Late Edition. Wolf Blitzer irritates the heck out of me. I realize that all of these guys [...]

I’m With Hillary On This One

The Hillary Clinton campaign has been making a lot of hay of last week’s comments by David Shuster that she was “pimping out” Chelsea. Not only was the comment offensive, but Shuster was attacking Clinton for doing something that other candidates with adult children have done (Was Mitt Romney “pimping out” Tagg?).
I’m not sure I [...]

More Pundit Logic

Get this straight, y’all:
- Hillary Clinton is finished because she came in third.
- Mitt Romney is finished because he came in second.
- John McCain came in fourth, but will win it all.
