Beck Goes After Our Raúl

After the jump is the latest from Raúl Grijalva’s DailyKos diary. It is in response to this.
By the way, could conservatives agree on who invited Dolores Huerta? Tom Horne complained that the ethnic studies program brought her, while Glenn Beck seems to think Grijalva brought her. Ya know, they’ve been complaining about this incident for [...]

“We Love Mo Udall” and Other Lies Republicans Tell

A group called Conservatives for Congress is running ads against both Gabrielle Giffords and Raúl Grijalva. The committee consists of local car dealer Steve Christy and other Republican contributors and activists. Because of their committee status, there is no filing with the FEC to disclose their contributors or disbursements.
Some of their ads are available on [...]

Oyez, Oyez…

Editor’s Note – I haven’t decided yet if I will totally return to this blogging enterprise, but last night left me with thoughts that are begging, nay, demanding, to be posted. I’ll post a few throughout the day, including ones of only marginal utility such as this one.

Is it just me, or does that name conjure up images of a cowled pirate from a 70’s cartoon?
LaHood, Grijalva, Giffords and Mayor [...]

About that Rant…

A blogger with The Faster Times decided to do a rant about liberal members of congress, with our own Raúl Grijalva singled out, who are so far refusing to pass the Senate health bill unammended.
If the blogger, Mathew Speiler, wants to question Grijalva’s tactics, that’s just fine. But, he goes too far when he alleges [...]

Truth and Reconcilliation

Bruce Ash has already taken me to task for not saying anything about the Massachusetts Senate race. This is because I am obligated to only write about topics that Ash approves. I forgot about this and I am sorry.
Ash will crow for the next few days about Scott Brown’s election as the new Senate Majority [...]
