I can see why Sepulveda would be offended by the article in question. There is one big problem.
Linda Lopez never said the things alleged in the article, either to the fictional Arizona Foothills News or any real newspaper. The website the allegations are on, Duffleblog, is satirical. Sample article: In Stunning 5-4 Decision, Supreme Court Declares Air Force Unconstitutional. The Onion-like tag “The American Military’s Most Trusted News Source” could have been one clue.
Another clue is that the picture is someone that looks nothing like the actual Lopez. But hey, why let such obvious facts get in the way of outrage.
Sepulveda took down the Tweet after someone told him he’d look like a complete moron if he left it up. I can still make fun of him though.
