Joe Arpaio is running his first TV ad of the campaign. Well, the first paid ad. He’s had plenty of “free media” from his attention grabbing press conferences.
Anyway, here it is:
Notice what you don’t see? Yeah. Nothing about being the Nation’s Toughest Sheriff™, nothing about immigration, nothing about birth certificates…
It could be that voters in Maricopa County are familiar with that part of his record, but this smacks of an introductory ad. Maybe the swagger isn’t working this year?
