A local businessman in Glendale has taken down his sign and replaced it with a sign for Manny Cruz.
Where was this love for me when I was running?
Anyhow, the press release from the Cruz campaign after the jump.
Glendale Business Owner Removes Own Sign -
Replaces it with Cruz for Mayor SignJuly 24, 2012 – Glendale, AZ: Chris Thompson, owner of Giant Electric at 5408 W. Myrtle Avenue, Glendale, has taken down the overhead sign advertising his business and replaced it with a 4’ X 4’ “Cruz for Mayor” campaign sign.
Thompson, who has been at the Myrtle Avenue location in Glendale for 15 years, told Cruz he is tired of career politicians making promises, and then forgetting once they are in office.
“I have talked with Manny Cruz on several occasions about his vision of ‘Moving Glendale Forward’ that will include small businesses like mine in the discussion,” said Thompson. “Manny understands the needs of small business owners.”
The ‘Cruz for Mayor’ sign put up by Thompson is visible for several blocks in the downtown Glendale area.
“To have the support of small business owners like Chris Thompson is fantastic,” said Cruz. “Great ideas, and innovative solutions, come from small business owners like Chris.”
Thompson said he is leaving the sign up until Manny wins the election.
“Manny Cruz is who I am supporting for Mayor,” said Thompson. “He is the right person for the job.”

well, move to Glendale next time you want to run.
Seriously though, I don’t think such a change would be legal under city sign codes.
Im reading this on my phone and detecting significant technical problems. I DEMAND this be fixed.
I can’t insult Bruce ashclown if I don’t k ow precisely what you said in the first place.
We all love you, Tedski.
Run again and I’ll proudly put up a Prezelski sign outside my Phoenix townhouse.
