Tom Horne has an interesting defense to charges against him: Felecia Rotellini did it too!
Yeah, I know. Cue the allegation that this is politically motivated because Republican elected officials are the most oppressed group in this country. It’s Jim Crow all over again, I tell you.
Someone else may or may not have done it is an odd defense from someone that is the state’s top law enforcement official.
They have an interesting take on this over at Arizona’s Politics:
But, for Horne to pass the Rotellini allegations along to the media in such fashion without any indication that he has also submitted them to an investigatory agency reflects poorly and sounds like the worst kind of schoolyard defense as to why he and the other boys thought it was okay to throw mud in the girls’ faces during recess.

Nice spin buddy.
Whenever you can keep changing the story because you figure the fools out there won’t remember what your guys have done.
See, now we have an admission. Bruce Ash thinks the voters of Arizona are “fools.” I am glad that you have finally admitted that you hold your fellow citizens in contempt.
First, thanks, Ted, for quoting my post. (I guess that was “the soundbite” of the post!)
Second, Bruce, I don’t think you’re showing much of your logical prowess here. You DO have better skills. You ARE correct in one aspect, though: No spinning really is necessary in this case because both sides really put their slime on display in this campaign. (Should we call it “purple slime” when both D’s and R’s engage in it?)
The thing that has really ticked me off with both Horne’s background and actions, and the Democrats’ nasty, violative-in-so-many-ways IE campaign is that the slimiest campaign was for the office which should feature the most above-board candidates and campaigns.
Although Horne had no “direct evidence” to back up his allegation, I also believe that the Democratic Attorneys General Association (through their front group) WILLFULLY decided to completely ignore the election laws, figuring that any penalties down the road would be part of the cost of doing business.
When you have a group representing AG’s taking that position, people – other than just me – SHOULD BE OUTRAGED!
Nothing Horne nor his associates did (that they are being investigated for) spurs that level of outrage.
But, regardless, Bruce, it sounds like YOU are the one trying to get people to forget “what your guys have done.”
I wonder when Jeff “Kinder and Gentler” Rogers will weigh in on the violence and the bizarre behavior of his boy Patterson?
The way Jeff is always talking about the “War on Women” you would think he would rush to the defense of all the women that Patterson is said to have abused or harassed.
Where are you Jeffrey?
Mitch-
Bruce knows the next step is someone bringing up his similar shenanigans in the last city council race, thus the attack on Jeff Rogers barely related to what I was writing about.
And then there is DEMOCRAT DC Councilman Marion “The bitch set me up” Barry who declared on his re election night earlier this week that DC needed to “get rid of the Asians and their dirty shops.”
Jeff Rogers…..MAYDAY/MAYDAY…….I think you have another in patient to your Civilty Institute. Can you arrange for Barry and Patterson to bunk together in the same padded room?
They both like drugs. They are both PIGS ( figuratively speaking of course–too say otherwise would be UN CIVIL ). And they BOTH love the ladies.
Bruce:
Don’t try to go toe-to-toe on red v. blue slimeballs.
You could fill Chase Field in Phoenix with guys from your side….
In fact, that’s what going to happen tomorrow, when all the R legislators take their family and girlfriends to the D-backs opening, courtesy of the free tickets they shoveled up after voting down Ruben Gallego’s attempt (note that he’s a D) attempt at reform.
Well….there you go again.
Bruce,
Your idiot rantings have yet to relate in any way to the original post. Is there some local wave of Democratic support for Barry that we haven’t heard of?
Again, you aren’t serving yourself going up against Jeff Rogers. You and he are equally partisan (I don’t think even you would deny that). The difference between you two (among many others) is that he actually wins campaigns while you dither around like a drugged up chimp, gleefully wallowing in your own political failure.
You have showcased a lackluster parade of ineptitude and incompetence that has never failed to amaze the local Democratic Party. On top of it, you log on here and vomit thought with no care for spelling, punctuation, sentence structure or even relevancy.
You write like a child. I know you aren’t one because a child would have accidentally won a campaign by now. Stop embarrassing yourself.
Wow! Driving down to the Old Pueblo – my old stompin’ grounds – later this weekend. Not sure I’ll run into any of you, but I’ll sleep with one eye open.
Bruce, don’t drink the 5th cup of wine! And, nah, I don’t think any of our current officeholders or -seekers qualify for it, either! (Non-Jews, the glass of wine placed on the table for Elijah has come to symbolize the hope for the coming of the Messiah.)
Dear Vice
Can I be the first to offer you a lifetime membership to The Civility Institute? If ever I met someone who needs some civility it is you.
Happy Easter to you…….
You were the one that never called me back after that sweet, sweaty night last November.
