It has become a common feature of our city elections: the anonymous letter. I got one yesterday attacking Steve Kozachik, who isn’t even up for re-election this year. It’s hard to tell from the letter (two letters, really, each one page, sent together) if the writer is a disgruntled Democrat, disgruntled Republican or just disgruntled. The gripes seem rather scatter shot: for and against Sun Tran, something about nude dancers and complaining that Kozachik is on TV too much.
The return address is “Steve Kozachik” and a PO Box.

I got one too. I think it’s the third one I’ve received. What’s funny is, they seem fairly well-written and factually accurate. It’s probably just some bored old crankypants from LD-28 or something.
Whomever it is could save his/herself a lot of postage by just starting a blog.
That’s funny… a disgruntled Democrat… What, Hope and Change, not working out up there in Tucson?
You Dumbocrats were sold a bill of goods, very similar to how the Republicans were last go around. Steve is just more of the same…
It’s time to wake up, up there, like everywhere else, and be American.
“It’s time to wake up, up there, like everywhere else, and be American.”
No, no, no … if you are going to insist on some cliched implication that only those who believe as you do are the true patriots, then you have to do it with a cliched accent as well.
Soooo … something along these lines would be more correct:
“It’s time you done woke up and be Amurcan!”
I don’t see a lot of post praising Obama on her, do you?
Have you noticed that every election cycle there is one member of the council who is the media darling, called upon to speak on every topic? I get tired of all them, whichever side they are on. Spread it around, news media!
