Quick Take

Brian Miller always used to sign off his epistles to local Republican activists (the weekly “e-Tracks”) with the words “For Freedom.” His hastily installed replacement, Mike Shaw, signed his first communiqué “Conservatism Works.”

Which makes me ask: why does Mike Shaw hate Freedom so much?

It’s probably better than what the Democrat Party chair should say at the end of his “communiqués”.

Instead of “For Freedom”, he’d have to say something like “For Servitude”.

And instead of “Conservatism Works”, he’d have to say something like “Liberalism – in Order to Force Others to do All the Work”.

Hmmm … spoken like a true member of the Republic party. I would prefer the phrase “For All” rather than the “For the Wealthy” espoused by Republic party member … and, really, he’s correct when he says “Conservatism Works”, as long as one realizes that’s shorthand for “Conservatism Works against the best interests of the majority”.

There is wanting “to live off the sweat of the minority’s brow” (lets face it, who doesn’t day dream about winning the lottery and retiring to Hawaii, or something similar) and then there is the minority (many CEO’s, hedge fund types, etc.) which actually do live off the sweat of the majority’s brow.

    Facist scum! ;P
