I’m Just Jealaous He Didn’t Sue Me

Our friend Marshall Home is suing Jonathan Rothschild and the Pima County Democratic Party. His lawsuit against Rothschild claims he is inelgible to run for mayor because he is a lawyer. This is based on a lesser known constitutional provision so obscure that it only exists in Home’s brain.

Interestingly, Home claims that the Pima County Democratic Party acted illegally by endorsing Rothschild in some sort of high level secret conclave. Here’s the funny part: the party didn’t endorse Rothschild until last night, hours after Home filed his suit. Far from being some sort of backroom meeting, it was a regularly scheduled, publicly noticed meeting of the executive committee. How can I be so sure about this?

I’m on the committee.

Home’s remedy for this supposed nefarious activity?

Because of these multiple constitutional violations done by deceit and arrogance of the leadership of the Democratic Party, Marshall Home hereby calls for decertification of the Democratic Party of Pima County and the awarding of $ 1 Million Dollars in damages to Marshall Home for the attempted Larceny of my rights and voiding all the electors rights, and statutory rules.

He knows that “decertifying” the Pima County Democratic Party would eliminate the ballot line he’s planning to run on, right?

To think, I was almost the plaintiff for the suit to prove Home™ isn’t qualified to be on the ballot. But, alas, I have no huge assets to offer up to Marshall! :)
