I had a long rant against the Council of Conservative Citizens phonied up outrage about a black actor being cast in a supporting role in the upcoming Thor movie. These guys, by the way, are the successors to the White Citizens Councils that Haley Barbour claimed were not racist.
Anyhow, I decided not to post the whole frickin’ thing. Here’s the only thing I’ll comment on: one really revealing thing about their website is that even though he’s been known as Stan Lee for over six decades, they refer to him as Lieber so that we all know that he’s Jewish.
I’m sure that it’s not an anti-semitic dog whistle at all.
