Octavio García-Von Borstel, Mayor of Nogales, has been arrested for several charges, including bribery and money laundering. His father was also arrested.
In the last couple of years, García-Von Borstel had been mentioned as a possible candidate for legislature and even as a long-shot candidate for Raúl Grijalva’s seat if it became vacant.
