With everyone poking fun at La Cervecera for her stumbling opening statement and her comedic dodges about “headless bodies,” no one seems to have noticed the biggest lies she told: the claims that she balanced the budget and she’s saved our economy.
The big irony is that she at the same time claims that Terry Goddard has no plan on the budget crisis or our economic woes. But Jan, you already solved these problems, right?

Also, I’d like to know where those 120,000 jobs are that she created. Did you see the coverage on Keith Oberman yesterday– the “after party” press conference?
The AZ Star had a good article today examining the reasons behind Terry and Jan’s statements. Turns out her 120,000 jobs is closer to 7,200.
But then you have to subtract the 143,000 lost since 2009. But hey, we’re making progress!?
Playing back that opening statement, it looks to me like Gov. Brewer got caught up in an extreme “me moment.” Here’s why.
Really, Christopher?? no, I think she couldn’t honestly think of what her accomplishments really are……
Here is what I think happened:
Brewer was trying to remember a canned statement which her advisors had prepared for her, while at the same time trying to remember to smile and look into the camera. She suffered an overload, unable to remember the opener while staring into a blank, black lens.
Chimpanzees demonstrate a somewhat higher multitasking capability.
The best part is this: they won’t let her debate because she is a moron and chuck-o knows it. They were probably thinking that she couldn’t do very much damage in the span of only one debate. Oh, how wrong they were.
