I got word that Brian Miller, who has been regarded as an also ran in the CD-8 race, will have a fundraiser hosted by none other than Lute Olson. Strange, since Lute is for all intents and purposes an “establishment Republican” (his ex-wife is a Republican National Committee Woman for Pennsylvania) but odds on favorite Jonathan Paton didn’t get his blessing. What did he do? Root for ASU once?
Also announced this week is that Tom Tancredo’s and Bay Buchanan’s Team America PAC has given their endorsement to Jesse Kelly. The only appropriate response is “F*** YEAH!”
No word on whether Perry van der Beck is involved.

Miller’s followers are largely an anti-establishment bunch, but they see Kelly as the Tea Party candidate, and Paton as the failed, Republican status quo.
The Miller campaign looks, however, like a blunder machine. Working with former Kozachik campaign staffer Molly Thrasher (producer of last year’s Trasoff-trashing, supposed-to-be annonymous “Ballad of Rio Nuevo” YouTube video), Miller is promoting the Lute fundraiser directly on his home page:

Notice his use of military imagery (the A-10 he flies), Air Force insignia (is the Air Force endorsing him too?), the lack of a “paid for by” statement anywhere on the site… That, I’m afraid, is your “Brian Miller for Congress.”
Didn’t Lute recently have mental issues?
This is shaping up to look more and more like 2006 for the GOP. Remember folks like:
Randy Graf
Steve Huffman
Frank Antenori
Oh…and that guy who was with the RNC or something?
Maybe Republicans of 2010 are not a carbon copy of Republicans of 2008 (even establishment Republicans).
Here is an interesting take on the CD 8 contest.

this game is one of the best computer games I have playd so far. It is because of the smooth visual effects. But unfortunaly nothing beats Call Of Duty MW 2 on xbox 360, so I am returning to the sofa now ^^ Maybe I will play this game tomorrow sometime.
