While we were at the gathering of Democrats at the Wyndham Hotel up in Phoenix, one of my Blackberry-enabled fellow travellers read a Twitter post from a reporter at the Republican confab. Kirk Adams was blaming “Sinema Democrats” for the problems with the budget.
Yep. To believe this one, you’ll have to set aside actual facts, such as that Adams seems to be able to get what he wants out of the House, “Sinema Democrats” notwithstanding.
But, if the House were stocked with “Sinema Democrats,” it would certainly increase the fashion sense in our lower chamber, doncha think?

She wears shoes? Her fashion choices often, um, distract the eyes from viewing her feet.

I think that a leg full of Sinema’s would be awesome… and probably crash the streaming servers as everyone would tune in online to watch the precedings..

Not to interrupt this extremely substantive discussion, but Michael Cohen at Newsweek has an interesting assessment of the problem which can apply to Adams in Phoenix as well as it does to Bohener in Washington:
“But any regular observer of Washington would conclude that congressional Republicans have no desire to be reached out to—because they aren’t actually very interested in governing the country.”
Yes, Kyrsten is the best-dressed legislator in Phoenix, but she’s also has an MSW, a JD, and is studying to earn her PhD. So she’s also one of the smartest legislators in Phoenix. Just sayin’.
