Y'all keep hoping that this is but a tiny blip on the popularity of Glenn Beck.

Not that I trust him farther than I can throw him.

It's starting to be noticed in the national media that such matters as the fact that the list of Republicans who voted for the Ledbetter Fair Pay Act in the Senate exactly matched the four female Republican Senators, and the fact that after the 2006 election the entire Democratic majority in the house was due to their overwhelming advantage in the number of female representatives.

We also get stuff like Jon Kyl's statement about maternity (and when I posted on that on my blog, one of my more conservative female commenters who did in fact vote for Kyl last time got so annoyed that she said she won't vote for him next time.)

So is it any real surprise that even the most visible female conservative in the country is disparaged by the male conservative paragons of patriarchal purity?
