The Weiser Lock Copper Bowl of Freedom!
An R-Cubed senior correspondent reports that in conjunction with Michelle Bachman’s “Superbowl of Freedom” in Washington, a single protestor showed up at Raúl Grijalva’s district office in Tucson with a sign that said “Grijalva = Communism”. He got bored after ten minutes and left.
Quoth our senior correspondent: “I guess he didn’t feel that strongly about it.”
UPDATE: I was sent a scan of a flyer that was handed out at by a protest organizer at Gabrielle Giffords’s office, where the protest crowd was considerably larger: it may have hit a dozen. You can check it out here. I had no idea that communists authored the stimulus bill, or that my neighbor has a boat.

Wow. Before I saw this flyer, I never knew that ACORN was getting “billions of dollars.” This must be a different ACORN than the one I am familiar with.

The protesters couldn’t be bothered to show up today, they were busy getting their uniforms ironed for their upcoming anti-immigration rally.

I have no problem with people demonstrating – even if I don’t agree with them. Where I get upset is when they are apathetic, don’t vote, opt out of the democratic (small d) system. At least these others have an opinion. I am optimistic enough to think that if they participate – there may be hope but for those who don’t vote, don’t participate, there is absolutely no hope!
