Will There Be Bolseros de Té?

This upcoming Saturday, September 5th, Raúl Grijalva will be attending (see CORRECTION below) a town hall-style health care forum. The meeting starts at 10:00 AM over at Sunnyside High School. The forum will be in Spanish.
I can already hear the complaints now, but Grijalva has had several fora in the Queen’s English already, including one [...]

Grijalva Interviewed on NPR

Our own Raúl Grijalva was interviewed on the NPR program Tell Me More with Michael Martin. The premise of the interview is to hear views on health care from two congressmen who have spent a considerable part of their lives without health care. The conversation includes Texas congressman Henry Cuellar.

Department of Bush League Manuevers, Bad Editing Division

Hat tip to Jim Nintzel and Dan Shearer for this one. Here is Shearer on his blog for the Green Valley News:

Lip Balm for Everyone!

I couldn’t find a home page for Sam Wercinski when I wrote the last post. All I really had to do was look in my e-mail and see the following announcement:
We’re excited to share with you my candidacy for Arizona Secretary of State. Your support is needed. Rather than leaning ‘right or left’ to [...]
