Health Care Rally
Our own Raúl Grijalva will be hosting a rally to support health care reform this Saturday at 11:30. Here are the details from his press release:
Congressman Raúl M. Grijalva will host a rally on Health Care Reform on Saturday, July 11 in Tucson.
The rally is to support real health care reform through a single payer option or, at a minimum, inclusion of a public option in the developing health care reform legislation.
“We need voices for meaningful reform,” said Grijalva. “We need legislation that guarantees healthcare coverage that is affordable, high-quality, accessible and which lowers costs for all consumers, regardless of age. We need a single payer system or at least an enhanced Medicare-like public health option. We need health care reform that takes care of patients, not the insurance industry.”

I agree that health care should be accessible to everyone. It is so unfair when people can’t afford getting good treatment. I support this initiative!
