Great speech. Shaky camera work though…
Go Goddard!

Hmm looks like that A.G. of yours got some fire in his belly after all. Maybe he will take my old job after all.

I’ve sat through a lot of meetings where Terry Goddard has spoken, and the mood in the crowd was palpably different during this speech. It appears he really is stepping up to the occasion now that this contest is getting in full swing–here’s to hoping there’s more of THIS Terry Goddard to come!

Terry Goddard will be our next Governor, he has what it takes. Period.

Yeah, I was impressed with the speech also and the words about the legislature and their wrecking of state health, education. I also liked VERY much how he linked these to economic development, although he could do it a bit better with some quick stats that note how an educated work force, strong universities, equate with econ development. THAT will sell him even better.
So, used to think he was boring or kind of like Beeker from the muppets, now I am changing my mind. If he steps it up a bit bit more, he can win this and more importantly, he might deliver some legislative seats.
Last, am I sensing that the party is going to combine the gov. and legislative campaigns? Essentially, have the gov candidate talk about the need for change there as well?
THAT would also be nice.

Loved the speech, Terry. I wholeheartedly agree that what’s good for business is a healthy, educated workforce, free from discrimination. You were spot on assessing the extent of the damage done to Arizona by the 2009 and now the 2010 “budgets” begotten by these Rightest ideologues.
