Idiotic

Many of you probably heard about Andrew Ross Sorkin on Morning Joe where he challenged people to “name a successful unionized company.”

James Hoffa had a great response to this, but Sorkin would have needed to look no further than the unionized crew in the studio he was mouthing off in to see evidence of a sucessful unionized company.

But, here is what is particularly galling: this guy is a business reporter at the New York Times, and regarded as one of their better ones. How screwy is business reporting in this country when you can be a top business reporter and be this ignorant about who works at the companies you are reporting on?

NB – TPM has further responses from Andy Stern of SEIU and Terry O’Sullivan of my grandfather’s old union, Laborers’ International Union.
