Amazing choice! Luis will be an excellent Executive Director. The party has a bright future!

Boo-Yah! They actually got it right!

I couldn’t be more excited for our Party and our state. The road to healing, to recovery, and to victory begins today.

I’m so excited and happy for Mr. Heredia. He has our full support! Well-deserved.

GOODBYE MALLORY.
GOODBYE DEVIN.
HELLO FUTURE!

Congratulations to Luis. I have always supported the ADP and have often admonished those who contributed only harsh words about HQ staff. However, I must agree with Puede on saying goodbye to Mallory. The conditions of the 2008 election that lead to major losses are something we can learn from and move on stronger with. That withstanding, keeping a staffer like Ms. Hutchinson, who has demonstrated uniformly a lack of respect, tact and professionalism, is asking for more heartache. It looks like the Party is ready to grow as a professional organization. Can Luis challenge this young woman to try out a different line of work perhaps?

So the decision was made and Luis is the new ED. What sort of change will this bring to the ADP? He was Bivens choice from the beginning. Its unclear why there was a search committee process to begin with.
I wont pass judgement like many of you have done these last few months on people like Devin and the ADP staff. Its been shameful to watch and read. I wish Luis all the best and hope he can rescue this sinking ship.
I also hope Bivens and Luis give Devin the respect she deserves for serving AZ and the party with grace and diginity for the last 6 years. More than I can say for many of you…

Once again, the Arizona Democratic Party is out of step with what is needed to win over voters. I wish Luis the best of luck, but he was certainly not my choice. It worries that he is thanking the current staff when he needs to be letting some of them go.
And to whomever is bashing Devin Rankin, get over yourself. Unlike you, she was one of the top two in the running for ED, which you were not. And as Financial Director, she has been able to obtain great amounts of cash for a party with a poor history of success. I am pretty sure, you can’t say the same.

Maricopa Democrats welcome Luis and are eager to get started on a state-wide winning strategy.
Thanks to all of the candidates who were willing to go through a rigorous process (and a really long questionnaire!) Many thanks to Bill Roe for getting it started, and to the members of the selection committee for their time. I was told that it was an informative process for all involved.
Congratulations, Luis!

That scream you heard was Team Pederson ( Seth Scott ) realizing that the Arizona Democratic Party wont be their puppet this time around. It is about time the ADP is neutral.

Suggestion for abbreviation for Executive Director: ExD or XD. (Hey, X-D makes it sound like one of the X-Men. Is that a good thing?)
