I’d like to take a short break from the usual politics to send condolences to Dean Martin and his family for their horrible loss. I’m sure that all of my readers would also like to express support for Mr. Martin in this time when he needs it most.

Likewise.
At the end of the day we are all human, and we are all mortal.

There are no words to describe my sadness for the Martin family tonight. Let us all put politics aside and pray for his son’s full and fast recovery. And let us offer our heartfelt thoughts for Mr. Martin as he grieves an enormous and unthinkable loss and faces a very difficult road ahead.

Shocking and sad news for the Marin family. Is there an update on the health of the baby? I heard he was not doing well shortly after birth.

It certainly does point out, that even with today’s medicine, every time a woman bears a child she is risking her life.

To add further heartbreak, the news reported the baby passed away today. Heartfelt condolences to Mr. Martin.

The most heartbreaking experiences I’ve had in medicine are when we’ve lost newborns. I’ve never had the dreadful experience of losing both the mother and infant. This is an unimaginable tragedy. Mr. Martin has my deepest condolences. Anything I/we can do to express our sympathies, just say the word.
