When the Inevitable Drunk Frat Boy Asks for “Margaritaville,” I’m Out of There…
Newly appointed police chief Roberto Villaseñor will be doing an event to reach out to Tucson’s gay and lesbian community tonight. He’ll be participating in an event called “Meet Greet & Sing,” which will be a karaoke night over at Woody’s, a bar at 3710 N Oracle. The event starts at 9:00 PM and runs through 10:30.
The event is hosted by Rodney Glassman, even though it is in Karin Uhlich’s ward. They are letting him out of Ward 2 these days?
Local GLBT community leader Mark Kerr has already told me that he has extracted from Glassman a promise that he will sing “Copacabana.” I’m looking to you, dear readers, for other song suggestions. I can’t guarantee he’ll sing them, but if he does, I’ll have my video camera.

Rodney needs to get his business cards out to a new bunch, since everyone in his ward must have multiples by now
