Earlier this week, John McCain made an appearance in Southern Arizona. This was likely done to make it so carping bloggers like myself would stop writing that he never comes down here.

People are still jumping on that poor Mike Huckabee for refering to Sonia Sotomayor as “María Sotomayor.” I don’t think this shows any racism on Huckabee’s part. It could be that the only Puertoriqueñas he’s had experience with are from his viewing of West Side Story and old episodes of Sesame Street.
