Letter From Afghanistan

People always ask me about the folks who sign on here. There are a few of you, maybe half a dozen or so, that I know who you are even with the aliases. Most of the time, it is because that person told me “Oh, by the way, I post as such and such on your blog.” I don’t know who many of you are, and I don’t sit up nights wondering either. I know there are a couple of you whose worlds are shattered by that fact, but that’s the truth.

One relentless poster on here is a man calling himself “Tucson Vice.” I believed that “Vice” was an upstanding citizen since he seems to agree with my opinions often, but I knew little else about him. I found out from David Safier last week that “Tucson Vice” is a member of the United States Air Force serving active duty in Afghanistan. Safier has published a letter from “Tucson Vice” over at Blog for Arizona and it is worth reading.
