J. D. Hayworth is out of power, but he still has the power to make me embarassed that I live in the state that elected him in the first place:
Kind of funny watching him try to out-blowhard Chris Matthews. This is the best these guys can do?
UPDATE: Salon’s Scott Bateman has his own video take on this over at Video Dog.

Gawd, Hayworth was so bad when he was my Congressman (before redistricting confined his district to Maricopa county) that even Rick Renzi was an improvement. Now, THAT’S really, really bad!
The crook was better than the kook.
Embarrassment to Arizona, to the United States and to the Human Race. Maybe Soros will fund an Anti Goldwater Institute now.
Hayworth for Senate!
He’s on KFYI every afternoon. Sometimes I listen in a “can’t look away from the trainwreck” kind of way. To summarize a typical show: He hates immigrants, Janet Napolitano, and the Arizona Republic.
So he got over his loss to Harry Mitchell? Who says people cannot change!
Donna:
When he was in Congress he had quite repretoire of speeches.
1. bashing immigrants. 2. bashing liberals. 3. bashing the Clintons. 4. bashing gays. 5. bashing the U.N. 6. bashing unions. 7. bashing universities. 8. bashing everyone else.
He wouldn’t know what to do if he had to be polite to somebody.
Appleblossom, his whole rant against the Republic stems from them calling him a ‘bully’ in the 2006 campaign. He seems to studiously avoid mentioning The Mitchell, while reserving his fury solely for his proxy, “the Arizona Repugnant”.
So let me get this right. JD is claiming, George Soros, a Jew, “behind the scenes” has caused this crisis by manipulating currency. What, is he going to start talking about the Rothschilds next?
Hayworth was touted as a potential gubernatorial candidate back in 2006. I wonder if he still aspires to that post? Could he be gearing up to take on Brewer in a primary? I can’t see him staying out of politics for good.
I liked Fat Hayworth better.
