Blagojevich…Serbo-Croatian for Ex-Governor
Jump to Comments
The Illinois state senate voted unanimously to remove Rod Blagojevich from office. The governor is now a guy named Pat Quinn, who I am assuming has less interesting hair.
The state senate also voted unanimously to bar Blagojevich ever to hold public office in Illinois again. I remember that a similar provision in Arizona’s impeachment law was refered to as the “Dracula Clause” back during the Evan Mecham debacle.
NB – I’d like to note that frequent R-Cubed reader Ken Clark speaks Serbo-Croatian, and will no doubt correct my title.

Wow, and they voted the ‘dracula clause’ that our own legislators failed to pass when they booted Ev all those years ago (1988).
Good for them.

Hurray for the smart legislators of the State of Illinois. Justice has been served, this Governor should have resigned and apologized.

I love the title! Thanks for the shout-out, even though my language skills in this department have fallen off to that of a disoriented tourist looking for a bathroom –”Excuse me, where is your mother is a commode?”
The Bosnians I used to work with would describe somebody who was important in the community or on the news as a “big face.” They would also tell you that you had a big face if they wanted to bring you down a notch.
I suppose there should be a term for a self-important, arrogant, corrupt politician who only thinks he has a big face. He has big hair.

That’s not just “big hair” Ken… that is Barbie – Ken doll hair… that’s a look not to many men can ummm “pull off”.
On that note, I would love Fabio Lanzoni’s input on Blagos hair.
