Noddy Holder
I recieved a missive from consistent poster, Republitard:
I see that your Presumptive President Barack Ayers Obama has nominated another lawyer, Eric Holder, to be the head of his Justice Department. Did he even for a moment consider a non-attorney for this position? So much for reaching out! So much for change!
ACORN. Card check.

At this point it’s pretty clear Republitard is just having some fun.

Maybe a small-state governor with a journalism degree would be more qualified??

My biggest problem is not the lawyer part but the sheer number of former Clintonians that are inhabiting this “to be” administration. My wife continues to dig at me about this each day. While I think there is a need for some “experience”, there is also a need for change, new blood, and advisors with new ideas.
My only…and I mean only…disappointment so far is that the picks seem to be the “same old, same old”. Where is the new blood??????
Daschle?
Holder?
Emmanuel?
Clinton?
Richardson?
Help me here…where is the new blood?
I am not the only one thinking this…Mark Shields mentioned it on his commentary with Shields and Brooks.

They made already their share of mistakes.

Given there are 14 positions at the top of the Cabinet, I would say there is room to spare. After all, what is wrong with putting people with experience from an administration that managed to balance the budget and seemed to have a clue in a variety of areas in power again?

There has been only one successful demo prez since FDR so why wouldn’t you look to Clintonistas for their experience. I don’t think that’s a big deal. Obama still has to navigate DC as it is regardless of how he wants to change it.

Most would guess that JFK and LBJ were pretty successful.
Granted LBJ turned out to be also successful in screwing up the Nixon economy but…should we be upset with that?
