McCain’s Masada?
Here is a robocall script that has been travelling though these here interwebs:
I’m calling for John McCain and the RNC because Barack Obama is so dangerously inexperienced, his running mate Joe Biden just said, he invites a major international crisis that he will be unprepared to handle alone.
If Democrats win full control of government, they will want to give civil rights to terrorists and talk unconditionally to dictators and state sponsors of terror. Barack Obama and his Democratic allies lack the experience and judgment to lead America. This call was paid for by the Republican National Committee and authorized by McCain-Palin 2008.
Not too remarkable, ‘cept for one thing. According to Talking Points Memo, these robocalls are being made…
UPDATE: There have been several calls to Pima County Democratic headquarters from people who have gotten the calls. The calls convinced one person to give money: to a Democratic candidate.

What’s next? Flyers in highly Democratic precincts saying their polling place has been moved?
These people will do anything to win. We all need to take this as further motivation to make calls, walk our precincts, and do whatever we can between now and Tuesday to get out our vote.
Any ideas on who they are targeting with these calls? Sounds like a lot of Dems are getting them…which is a little odd considering he (McCain) should be worried about Reps and Indies.

McCain has permanently soiled himself with the way he has run his campaign. He and his campaign continues to issue negativity and pettiness–no positive vision for where the country should go.

I saw my first McCain Palin ad on channel 12 last night it was the “Obama doesn’t have experience” ad. – McCain advertising in his own State… interesting…

Your use of the term MASADA is very apropos. McCain is trying to protect Jews and Israel while Obama, Khalid and Ayers are trying to storm the mountain top as the Romans did 2000 years ago. I talked to a friend in Hollywood , Calif who is a Rabbi and staunch Democrat but is very upset over the Khalid tape the Times will not release. His argument was simple, if it doesn’t effect the Jews they should release the tape and put all the rumors to rest. If they don’t release the tape he will be forced to speak up. I asked him if he will vote for McCain and he replied” NO I just will not vote for either of them and will recommend this to others”. The Jews are finally getting it.

I’m Jewish Dolly and I am voting for Obama. You going to call me stupid? I would prefer you see that I am not crazy and don’t buy in to the fear mongering of the Republican party.
Get real for crying out loud! The only changes we are going to see is more hybrid cars, solar power plants, and more people with health insurance. Get a grip on yourself Dolly. Ditto to Joe Lieberman.

Dolly Rose, from whence do you get your info??? Reading your in-box and spouting it off as fact just doesn’t cut it any more.
Khalid expressed is displeasure with US foreign policy with regards to the Mid-East in general and the Israel-Palestinian issues specifically. I have some issue with how the last several administrations have handled foreign policy in region as well. Does that make me an enemy of Israel and/or anti-semetic? No, it makes me an AMERICAN, where we are free to criticize the actions of our country. (BTW: there are several million Israelis who feel that Israeli government policies have been severely flawed.. guess they must be anti-Israel too)
As for claims made by Palin and McCain about Khalid: He was NEVER a spokesman for the PLO. YES, the Obamas had dinner with him on a couple of occasions. It doesn’t mean that they have to be in lock-step with each other on every issue. That whole ‘if you are friends, you must agree on every issue’ is a REPUBLICAN thing, I guess.
One of my best friends is a McCain supporter. We disagree on several issues, but when I visit the area he lives in, we will sit down together for a meal, (or more). Does that make me a Republican or he a Democrat?? No.

dolly– please see the part of the documentary “jesus camp” where a group of young hyperfundamentalist christians– you know, the kind who want to “protect” israel so that it can play a pre-scripted role in the coming armagedon (when jewish people will be wiped off the earth)– are praying in front of and crying to a cardboard cutout of george w. bush.

Not one of their attacks offered any original ideas nor did they ever gain any traction, wealth spreader? for a guy cutting taxes? The GOP can no longer rely on the spread of fear, the internet allows truth, First Sarah Palin is a complete whack-job. Go shoot a moose, speak in tongues, spy on Russia from your house, spend other people’s money on Rodeo Drive, bilk taxpayers for you kids travel expenses, fire people who piss off you sister and have your handlers gossip about your future boss. Your twittage factor off chain ……But my favorite is just sayings things that are NOT true……….glad I got that off my chest, maybe the Repubs can do a robo-call that says: Hi this is John McCain don’t vote for Obama because the Earth will get to close to the sun and we will all die, and Biden is related to the guy who killed Jesus. Those arguments have equal creditiblity.
