Frank Keating on Barack Obama

Ya know, you’d think that John McCain would try his best not to associate himself with guys named “Keating,” but what do I know?

This one confuses me. Former Oklahoma Governor Frank Keating refered to Barack Obama as “a guy of the street.” Wait a sec, he’s some sort of street level hoodlum, but also an elitist?

Next they’ll tell me that he worships with a radical Christian pastor while also implying he’s Muslim.

Speaking of which, I caught this pic on Wonkette:

He’s Muslin
I always thought he breathed well.

  • Wow…sad. I just listened to a podcast of a Lehrer report from a day or so ago on the campaign and swing states. The guests mentioned how they are still hearing people come up to them as journalists, give them their name, spell it, and say that they would never vote for a black man.

To think…to think that people still believe that there is equality in America, that affirmative action should be dead, and that there is not racism.

  • Look back on Wonkette a couple of weeks ago, they have the original story that goes along with that sign. It’s scary and hilarious at the same time.

  • You libruhls don’t get it.

Barak HUSSEIN Obama is gonna tear apart the fabric of society.

We don’t need no muslin in the White House. We need good old red-white-and-blue cotton.

    Make that white cotton.

  • KRAMALJALES–McCain/Palin are hypocrits for talking about cleaning up government and supporting bipartisanship while at the same time purposely trying to ramp it up partisan hatred. They need to clean themselves up first so they are fit for the office. /[The progressive Bush-haters are half-hearted in comparison to the conservative/racist Obama-haters.] McCain has sold his soul. He has control over this crap–he is responsible for turning his campaign into something much worse than what Bush did to him. Where is his honor, which he says is so important to him? Totally dishonorable campaign.

  • Gretchen,

Very well said. Just look at how he “took on” the lady at a town hall who went after Obama as an “Arab”. McCain says, “he is a decent family man”. One commenter on the story said, “are those things mutually exclusive?”

The point though is that he could have attacked that statement, corrected her, and gone on. Instead he lets the seed of this malicious weed continue to grow.
