Obama-Biden Conference Call

I was invited to listen in on the Obama-Biden conference call with Barack Obama’s field director, Jon Carson. Does this make me a real journalist? Gawd, too much responsibility.
Carson confirmed that Obama’s schedule has been set for the weekend and that it does not include a visit to Arizona. He also confirmed that the ad [...]

Ads…Here?

Barack Obama is going to start running ads here after all. Reports are it is going to be a positive ad highlighting endorsements from Warren Buffett and Colin Powell.

Does this mean the campaign stops encouraging Arizona volunteers to go to New Mexico?

One Word of Advice to the McCain Campaign: Targeting

Okay, it’s really a simple matter of knowing your audience. You don’t try to convince those that are already convinced, and you don’t try to convince people that can’t be convinced.
The folks that put together John McCain’s now infamous Arizona robocalls seem to be unclear on the concept. I had a few chuckles when I [...]

A couple of folks over at DailyKos have been pushing for Barack Obama to make a visit here in Arizona over the next few days. I’m about to tell y’all something that is going to go totally against what many of you feel about this idea.

Adams has been doing campaign work for Obama here as well as in Virginia and North Carolina and has been a passionate and articulate spokesman. He gave a fantastic [...]

McCain’s Masada?

Here is a robocall script that has been travelling though these here interwebs:
I’m calling for John McCain and the RNC because Barack Obama is so dangerously inexperienced, his running mate Joe Biden just said, he invites a major international crisis that he will be unprepared to handle alone.
If Democrats win full control of government, they [...]

Worth a Read

A 109 year old Texas woman, whose father was born into slavery, cast her vote this year for Barack Obama. It’s this sort of history being made that makes me proud to be involved this year.

Is It Just Me, Or Does Thomas’s Shirt Look a Bit Brown?

Andrew Thomas has written letters to Phoenix-area radio stations demanding that an ad being run by Arizonans for Responsible Law Enforcement stop running, or he’ll take legal action.
Interestingly, Thomas is taking issue with the ad’s assertion that he had reporters arrested, while leaving the other allegations unaddressed. The arrest of Michael Lacey and Jim Larkin [...]
