I Say “Hardy Har,” And Howie Salmon Ain’t Even Here

One of the vast network of R-Cubed correspondents e-mailed me with the, to say the least, amusing news that Joe Arpaio was losing an online poll at his own campaign website.

Unfortunately, by the time I had a chance to evaluate this chuckle-inducing development myself, one of Joe’s minions had the good sense to take the poll down and it doesn’t seem to be on his website any longer.

Joe Arpaio PollBut, lucky for all of us, Steve Lemons of the New Times documented this blessed event and even took a screen shot of the poll, so that even Doubting Thomases (possibly Andy Thomas too) can touch Joe’s wounds and believe.

Lemons points out that it wasn’t possible to vote on Joe’s poll twice from the same computer. He tried it, that’s how.

  • As much as i would like to believe that people were selecting Absolutely Not, I fear a majority were thinking they were picking Absolutely–look at the position of it on the ballot. (Come on these are Arizona voters)

Whatever the reason I think the papers should run with it and cast some doubt at those who just follow what is popular at the moment. Arpaio Down in His Own Poll, should be the headline.

  • HEy, just to let you know, I got my bumper stickers today!! Already sporting one on my vehicle!

  • What do you know, looks like those Illegal Aliens may be voting after all?!? BWAAAHHH.
