Bee's campaign has to overcome both incumbency advantage and a tied that is very much anti-GOP. In order to win, he can't simply run a better campaign, he has to make Giffords out to be something worth getting rid of. This ad, simply put, solidifies the fact that she is an incumbent, working on issues that are important to the nation...but also the district. It is just one more issue that persuades voters that she is worth sticking with. Thats why it is a good ad. The economy part, though, better be coming...and I bet it is. I am still waiting for the ad linking Bee to his party in the Senate that has brought us the financing system that put us over a Billion dollars in deficit. He is the leader so the Senate...this happened on his watch...twice. It also reminds some hardcore conservatives that he broke with his party to support the Governors budget.
