New Gabrielle Giffords Ad

I’ve heard complaints from not a few people that they haven’t seen any Gabrielle Giffords ads. I am getting tired of seeing Tim Bee’s ads. I saw Bee’s ads, it seemed, during every break in the Olympic soccer matches. (By the way, why is it that ABC can show soccer without breaking into the game every twelve or fifteen minutes, but NBC can’t?)

Anyway, here it is:

  • The hacks working these campaigns are focussing on second teir issues instead of the economy. It’s time for one of these campaigns to launch an on message campaign that addresses the economy. Southern Arizona polling is consistent with the rest of the state…it’s the economy stupid…

  • Gawd. She’s hot.

  • I agree but this this a good ad. Bee’s campaign has to overcome both incumbency advantage and a tied that is very much anti-GOP. In order to win, he can’t simply run a better campaign, he has to make Giffords out to be something worth getting rid of. This ad, simply put, solidifies the fact that she is an incumbent, working on issues that are important to the nation…but also the district.

It is just one more issue that persuades voters that she is worth sticking with. Thats why it is a good ad.

The economy part, though, better be coming…and I bet it is. I am still waiting for the ad linking Bee to his party in the Senate that has brought us the financing system that put us over a Billion dollars in deficit. He is the leader so the Senate…this happened on his watch…twice. It also reminds some hardcore conservatives that he broke with his party to support the Governors budget. Either way, its a plus for Giffords.

  • This is hardly a Non-issue.My Father, a WWII Veteran, had His College entirely paid for…So what’s the difference now? Our soldiers are used once or twice, and then thrown away. BTW, I Have met and Shaken the hand of Gabrielle Giffords and Tim Bee you are no Gabrielle Giffords!

  • Yeah, you can tell a lot about a person by shaking their hand.

    Brilliant comment.

  • As we all remember, Hank Hill had doubts about George W. Bush because of his handshake.
