Nope, Out of Snark On This One.

I struggled with a couple of comments to make on this one, but some stupidity is so offensive that it must stand on its own. Check this one out.

But I’ll bet Hagee wears a flag pin, so it’s all good.

My jaw just hit the floor…..
OMFG! The Jews themselves were responsible for the Holocaust?? Wonder how Johnny-Mac’s buddy, Joe L. feels about this guy being so close to Mac’s campaign…
I’m flabbergasted that this guy hasn’t been dumped by McCain!

Yes, Hagee is a mad dog, pure and simple. I used to watch his sermons occasionally, and they are simply frightening. He is that sick brand, the Christian hater.
If Hagee isn’t hung around McCain’s neck by the media eventually, it will show McCain is bulletproof. But it will have to begin with Democratic notables being scandalized publicly and often by Hagee’s pronouncements.

Hagee — Put the crack pipe down!

Do you guys really think Hagee is close to McCain’s campaign? Do you think he sits in on briefings? Do you think he helps steer messaging? Do you think the candidate checks-in with him on his thoughts and feelings? I sure don’t. I don’t speak for the campaign, but use some commons sense. Just because a person endorses someone, is doesn’t mean the endorsee is accountable for the endorser. Duh.

He’s accountable if he sought him out even after knowing the guy was a wingnut.

Danny: If McCain can’t be held accountable for literally throwing his arms around Hagee, which was Obama flogged repeatedly by the media for the comments of the Rev. Wright?

Given “Danny’s” high standards for what warrants criticism, I guess we won’t be hearing him parroting the GOP lines regarding Obama and Wright, Obama and Farrakhan, and Obama and the Weathermen.

McCain just issued the following statement regarding Hagee and his Hitler remarks:
“Obviously, I find these remarks and others deeply offensive and indefensible, and I repudiate them. I did not know of them before Reverend Hagee’s endorsement, and I feel I must reject his endorsement as well.”
Sounds a bit like what Obama said about Wright that the Righties rejected as too little too late.
But that’s not how I want to play the game.
Better late than never, Senator. Thank you.

So exactly when will Cindy McCain be pressured by the MSM to release her income tax returns as was Teresa Heinz Kerry? What! You mean never?
The MSM always has a different standard for candidates who invite them to barbeques at their cabin. The media will NEVER treat McCain’s connection to Hagee the same way they treated Obama’s connection to Wright. And remember, it was McCain who sought out Hagee’s endorsement so he could pander to the religious right. Yes, McCain is bulletproof, if you depend on the MSM to do your work for you. They won’t. Not in a million years.

Tom: You will never hear me talk about Reverand Wright, and I don’t expect you folks to talk about Hagee. I’ve never, ever said that the culpability for Rev. Wright’s comments should be transfered to Obama.
SonoranSam: I don’t agree with the media storm around Wright (see above). The fourth estate likes to build up folks and then tear them down, and I don’t think it’s fair for you to place blame or responsibility on the McCain folks for the media frenzy.
Zelph: Cindy McCain should not release her tax returns. Mrs. Heinz should not have released hers, either. My family was pestering me over the weekend as to why the spouse of the candidate I support won’t release her tax returns, and I believe the media is pressuring Mrs. McCain, but that she will not relent, nor should she. What was the reason Teresa Heinz obliged the request? Was there more to the story? Or did they just badger her to the point where she just released the returns?
I think that if the returns and assets are seperate, the media should not pressure “civilian” spouses from sharing their returns, and the public should not expect such an obligation.
