From an article in this morning’s Arizona Republic:
The complaints echo a common refrain heard from local McCain critics in just about every demographic. Namely, that since emerging in the 1990s as a top national political figure and presidential contender, McCain has neglected his Arizona constituents and responsibilities.

He keeps a house here, so he can come back and do occasional sweetheart land deals for his real bosses.
