One of those things that makes me laugh a wee bit: in their zeal to outlaw the already illegal institution of gay marriage, our Republican friends did a strike all on SCR 1042, which in its original form would have created a holiday to honor Viet-Nam veterans. That this bill wasn’t going anywhere and that they decided it would be better off as a place holder for this silliness says volumes about the priorities of the Republican caucus.
Well, as it turns out, they did it wrong. Today, they have to re-do the strike-all amendment. So, not only are we wasting our time on this nonsense, they don’t even know how to do it right.
