John McCain is a Maverick and the Scourge of Lobbyists Because They Keep Telling Me That
Well, I guess I can’t complain about John McCain having lobbyists work his campaign anymore since Charlie Black is taking a leave of absence from his firm to work full time on the campaign. I guess that means that Black will no longer be making lobbying calls from the Straight Talk Express. Carping lefties like me can’t complain about it now. Nope. He showed me.
The campaign recently announced a new “regional campaign manager.” This new guy is probably a scourge of all lobbyists just like that McCain is. Let’s see a bit about him, this from Marc Ambinder of The Atlantic:
Before helping to start DCI, Davenport was the chief lobbyist for a major lottery company. DCI’s federal clients include telecoms, defense contractors, big PhRMA and mortgage lenders. Davenport is close to McCain’s campaign manager Rick Davis.
Oh! Say it isn’t so! It can’t be true!

Watch for nastiness to start coming from the McCain backers. The DCI Group is one of the dirtiest organizations to work in the political consulting field. DCI has been tied to the Swift Boat Vets and even the South Carolina whisper campaign against McCain in 2000.

This is the perfect chance for the democratic party to “get back” and show how it feels to be “swift boated.” McCain is the perfect candidate for this payback.
There is so much dirt on him that it needs to be emphasized strongly… from his crashing of 5 aircraft in the Navy to his repeated destruction of navy “families” by sleeping with young officer’s wives…his drunken stupors are classic. While being escorted off (thrown off) Air Force One, he took a swing at a young airman.
McCain is pure evil…
