I saw a rally on the teevee today where Bill Clinton was speaking. Standing behind him, and presumably also speaking at the rally, was Dolores Huerta.
So, did Bill ask Jonathan Paton if that was okay?

I feel confident that Payton would have been amused by Clinton’s choice as Huerta is not a consensus builder.

Uh, gee, why would Jonathan object to the Democrats hanging out with yet another bigot? It’s not like this was a school assembly full of a captive audience. She’s free to vomit up her “Republicans hate Latinos” bigoted hate speach all she wants. She’s a one trick pony, a hack, and a bigot. Interesting the Democrats choose to closely associate with her, the Clintons no less as this speaks to the bigotry that Former President Clinton expressed in South Carolina.
The only thing Jonathan did was to speak up so that other school children don’t have to hear that sort of Huertaspeak at a time when they are supposed to be learning things that will help them be successful in life and able to decide for themselves what kind of politics they’ll embrace.
