Golly…I Guess That Sort of Backfired, Didn’t It?

I spoke with someone in Gabrielle Giffords’s office the other day. As it turns out, the ads that the group “Defense of Democracies” has been running to encourage folks to call Giffords’s office to support granting immunity to telecommunications companies that have violated people’s rights have had quite the opposite effect. They are getting many more calls in favor of the House Democrats’ position than against it. Oops.
