Does She Still Believe in a Place Called Hope?
Since nothing else seems to be working, Hillary Clinton has now decided to mock Barack Obama’s optimism. You can check the video here.
Anyone remember a candidate that spoke about being from a “Place Called Hope” and used “Don’t Stop Thinking About Tommorrow” as a theme song? That guy and his supporters must have been naïve.

I thought it was the funniest thing she’s done. We need more mockery of politicians by each other!
Also, it would be fun to watch them imitate each other. I bet this is something she (and the other candidates) do in private all the time.
As I recall, people mocked the Clinton hope stuff too. We just didn’t have YouTube then.

If the Clinton campaign is indeed circulating this photo then they are disgusting, desperate, and undeserving of leading America.

While the ridiculing of the idea that the nation needs to and can be changed and we need to move away from 50% +1 partisanship is bad enough, her staffers circulating the photo of him in traditional Somali dress is right out of the Rovian playbook. They are now openly helping the Republicans frame an anti-Barack General Election dirty tricks strategy.

For all of you that posted on a an earlier post that you’ve met her, for all of you that have contact with her staff, PLEASE TELL MRS. CLINTON that her reputation and the legacy of her work and her husband’s work for this country is being seriously damaged. These win at all cost tactics are hurting the party and the nation. PLEASE TELL HER TO STOP.

Honestly, people need to quit it with the “out of a Rove play book.”
Is she or any of the other candidates accusing a person of planting bugs, child molestation or other actual criminal acts? No.
Nothing I have seen out of either of the Democratic candidates has even reached Nixon level dirty tricks.

For once, I’m in total agreement with Hillary.

Hillary Clinton and her campaign have made numerous strategic and tactical errors and are paying the price. I remember reading a year ago or so that that 45% or so of the public had a negative view of her. For all of the campaigning she has done, she has not been successful in lowering that percentage, which should have been one of her major goals. And her mocking of Obama is not likely to draw undecided Democrats to her [also it is a dishonest misrepresentation]. Check out the gallup numbers re the percentages that view Obama as a “uniter” or a “divider” versus those same percentages for Clinton. http://www.gallup.com/poll/104515/Public-Views-Obama-McCain-Unifying-Candidates.aspx
Clinton has provided plenty of material for Obama to mock, but he hasn’t lowered himself to that level.

I second that.

It’s official. Hillary is now in “let’s throw everything at the wall and see what sticks” mode.
