Today is Abraham Lincoln’s birthday. Lincoln was a lawyer from Illinois who only spent a scant four years in federal office, so was obviously unqualified for the Presidency.

Wow. I had the same thought yesterday, but clearly you have a better handle on history (I merely suggested that perhaps the naysayers would have preferred a second James Buchanan administration)
