Lots of activity this morning at the Odd Fellows Hall, my polling place. The Barack Obama folks had some visibility for some last minute persuasion, a volunteer for Gabrielle Giffords was there getting signatures and I got hit up by an exit polster, who for some reason thought I was a Republican.

Take it as a compliment. We’re better looking, in general.
Those of us Rs who are, in fact, just plain butt ugly, compensate by being especially well dressed in the most preppy of ways.
We had the monster D turnout in the west suburbs of Des Moines last month. Heavy Republican country with an unusual D turnout.
