Praising Ray Carroll

I went to the Martin Luther King birthday celebration at Reid Park yesterday, and Ray Carroll was there. He is one of only two Republican officials who seem to want to be seen at that event in the nearly twenty years I’ve been attending, the other being Bob Walkup. Props to him.
The guy at the Black Chamber of Commerce booth tried to sell Ray a T-shirt bearing the likeness of Dr. King and Barack Obama. He was hesitant, but the guy was really pushing it. I left before this was all resolved.
