Here is a peek at the new Barack Obama ad that will be airing here. It is called “Mother.”

    This is a good ad, short, personal, and poignant.

    Maybe later they can add a part about Hillary’s legendary failure when Bill tasked her with national healthcare in his first administration.

    There I again. I keep forgetting that it is not nice to criticize Hillary. She has feelings.

    The ad was impressive because it:

    -shows Obama’s personal connection to the issue in a dignified way.

    -speaks to the overwhelming feeling that there is too much acrimony and partisanship in our national political dialogue.

    -infers a contrast between him and Clinton because he states the issue won’t be solved until we “change Washington.” Clinton touts herself as a Washington insider.

    Saw it this morning on the 8am NBC News up here in the Evil Phoenix (had to throw that in for Ted). So he knows where the geeks like me are on Sunday morning…(watching Meet the Press).

    Also, we got a beautiful 11×17 full color mailer….BEFORE our early ballots arrived. They aren’t messing around.
