Today is Barry Goldwater’s birthday. Goldwater was born in what was then Arizona Territory and named for a bombing range near Yuma. His son was named for a terminal at Sky Harbor Airport.
In further disproof of astrology running anything, Goldwater shares his birthday with Sally Rand, Taye Diggs and Tia Carrere.

As a presidential candidate, I think Tia Carrere would also get about 38% of the popular vote. At least among fans of Wayne’s World 2.

I love barry. This world would be a lot better if more Republicans thought like him.
