As the Star would say, a flower to Fred Dalton Thompson for his refusal to play the “show of hands game” at the Republican debate this week. His frustration at the insistance of the debate moderator for quick, glib, soundbitten answers to otherwise complex questions led him to say “You want a show of hands. I’m not giving it to you.”
Of course, I still would never vote for the guy.
