Just a follow-up on my bit on Fred Duval’s run for DNC: I recieved an e-mail from a Jeff Latas fan (remember when those folks all thought I was Satan?) who wanted to note that Latas is interested in running for the DNC too.
I’m not sure that Latas can beat DuVal one-on-one, but he really doesn’t have to with the way the positions are elected.

Satan? Not really.
We had an anti-war veteran with a strong background in US foreign policy who was willing to represent CD8, but the blogs thought that property management was a more appropriate fit.
We didn’t think you were Satan, Tedski. We knew all along it was personal. So what? Are local blogs really that influential? No, there were a multitude of other factors much too difficult to overcome in today’s political world that controlled the election. That’s why Congress is what it is and we all have plenty to bitch about.
