We All Know He Isn’t, He Was in the Navy After All

John McCainOver at Radar, they are reporting that one of John McCain’s frustrations with the aides he fired was with their choice of attire for him. Specifically, he didn’t like the, his words, “gay sweaters” they made him wear to make him look younger.

To quote the gay friend who tipped me off to this one, “Gay sweater? Oh come on, those look totally off the rack from Ross.”

  • Have you ever noticed the look that McCain has when he is interviewing, where he is trying too hard to please? He reminds me of Piglet, from Winnie the Pooh.

As a gay, I must tell you there’s nothing “gay” about those sweaters, John. There AWFUL. No gay would be caught dead in one.

  • Anyone who told John McCain that a sweater, gay or otherwise, could make him look younger deserves to get fired. Of course, I guess the truth would have gotten them fired as well.

John McCain, you are an unattractive, bald, elderly and overweight white man. You did not age like Paul Newman. Next time, pick better DNA.

The money spent on those sweaters should have been spent on a better set of false teeth…seriously. I’m not going to attack a physical characteristic of the man, but, with his money, he could afford a better set. C’mon. British-looking teeth don’t sell well in America, I’m afraid.

Also, in my previous post, I can assure you that I am literate. “There” was embarrassing. :(

  • I’m sure he meant festive. After all, there’s nothing else in his demeanor that says festive, so why should his sweaters?

  • The money spent on those sweaters

That line conjured up an image for me. I wonder if John McCain, alone in an office which has been abandoned by everyone else in his campaign, is digging through file cabinets full of old receipts, trying to find the receipts for the sweaters in order to take them back to Nordstrom’s for a refund so he can pay for another tank of gas to put in the ’straight talk express.’

If I owned a small retail store, I might put out a tin cup and throw a couple of pennies and a paper clip in it, so other people could do the same and label it ‘campaign donations for the McCain campaign.’
