This video has been going around. Mika Brzeziński of MSNBC refused to read a story about Paris Hilton last week, especially because it was chosen as top story over Richard Lugar’s plans to take a walk on the Iraq War.
Some folks are wondering if the event was “staged.” So what if it was? She made her point. From the reactions of her co-hosts, it seems to be for real.
Brzeziński is the daughter of Zbigniew Brzeziński. When I was growing up, I used to see him on TV all the time and I identified with him and wondered if people gave him as much grief for his name as I got.

Great TV, and on cable even. Good for her. Can refusing to go to commercial be far behind?

Of course Fox News wants to lead with Paris. Props to Mika. I remember when she was on WFSB in Hartford… too bad she works for Rupert Murdoch now.

Actually, Todd, she works for MSNBC, which means she works for Jeff Immelt, Jean-Bernard Lévy and Bill Gates (sort of).
